One of the best Spaghetti Westerns is A Fistful of Dollars where we're introduced to a morally ambiguous Clint Eastwood. Sure the film was mirrored to Kurosawa's Yojimbo but it's a lot more cooler with guns. And people love guns.
I'll be fibbing if I say I haven't seen this idea been incorporated before like on Ban T-Shirts or on Progress Media but Artist Structure Apparel Depot manages to make this imagery fresh. Note the peace signs and the hazard warnings. Note the weapon is a luger, with it's long thin barrel to also resemble a stalk.

Disastore is controversial not only for their t-shirt designs but because of their ideals. They believe that disasters of all shapes and forms is a state of mind. They added that "disaster, coherentally with it's own philosophy, it's a project destined to failure."

You got to give it to Stereo Panda. Based in France, they've been pretty consistent with their panda-themed t-shirt designs. They're like the White Stripes or the Hives of t-shirts. They came up with a gimmick and they stuck with it.

Threadless came up with a new line of tees and I particularly like Advisors. Stylistically, it works. Not many people will get it straight away but it works.

Sure this design is tongue-in-cheek but what if, it's real? What if, somewhere out there, some deranged chef who's sharpening his knives hit upon an idea to present these disease bags with wings as delicacy?

Did you see a t-shirt of white birds ejaculating from the penis-branch of a tree as well? Just checking.
Who can forget Sam, the nonchalant suit-and-hat-wearing canine and Max, the hyperkinetic lagomorph, embarking on hilarious, surreal escapades that ends in our pants full of pee and our view that the world is a cold hard place, where a talking dog and insane rabbit, can cause so much misery. Side-splitting misery.

My psychology professor, an aging white hippie, once remarked to me that he celebrates each MLK day by listening to the "I Have A Dream" speech. He would play the speech, all seventeen minutes of it, and he could hear each timbre, each rise and fall of his words, and feel the jostle of the crowd, a hint of electricity on his skin. Each time he hears that speech, he walks away, his beliefs reaffirmed that as long as millions dream the same dream, the world can make it a reality.
Where am I, you ask? I've always been here but I'm a bit busy of late. Here's something to make up for it my pretties.

What struck me about this t-shirt from The Ryde is that in the Old Country, I used to run with this cat who played in a band. He played the harmonica and the accordion and had a set of cymbals between his knees. He played a mean tune when he's in the streets. Also, he shouts at cars.

Sneakers was a movie staring Robert Redford, Sidney Poitier and a whole slew of other celebrities. It was always receiving flak but I like it. I guess people entered to watch it because they thought it was about the footwear industry.

I don't know about you but I had a wild night of New Year celebrations involving food, singing, trying to hit on a girl at a party and sleeping till the late afternoon. What a great start to the new year. Speaking of great starts, Kindred Clothiers, presented a preview of their new line up due out this month.
